When you create a Goget Credit account through the Goget Credit application or website, or access the Goget Credit application via GooglePlay, Apple App Store, or other download platforms (referred to as “platforms”), you may be required to provide or submit information, including but not limited to information used to establish your identity (such as name and biometric data), background, occupation, address, photos (accessed through the camera), text messages, contact information and phone number, email address, IP address, operating system, browser type, financial data, credit information, information about your guarantor (such as the guarantor’s name, email address, and phone number), microphone/audio recordings, approximate location, device information, and telecom usage data (“personal information”), as well as your nationality, marital status, age, educational level, valid government ID number (“sensitive personal information”), and other information and data related to your use, access, or enjoyment of our products and/or services that you provide by granting permissions to the application (“personal data”).

We may collect and obtain this personal data manually or automatically, from sources including but not limited to personal data you submit; analysis of your use and management of the account/facilities; publicly available sources or registration authorities; government agencies, regulatory bodies, and/or law enforcement agencies; third parties or other sources; and information collected when you visit our website (including the IP address of your mobile device or computer) or information collected through cookies on some websites. This data will only be collected with your consent, unless otherwise restricted.

It is understood that when you have submitted your information to Gogetcredit, you expressly guarantee the correctness of the data provided and expressly consent to the collection and processing of such information for whichever purpose it may serve under the agreement.

SMS

Permission Purpose:

Gogetcredit collects the User’s SMS, including but not limited to the content of the SMS, the time the SMS was sent, and the mobile phone number to which the SMS was sent, and upload it to our servers (https://app.gogetcredit.college) to help us to complete the user’s credit risk assessment. Also, in order to prevent users from using our services illegally, including fraud, money laundering and other illegal activities, we use SMS data as an important basis for making judgements about assessing a user’s fraud risk and financial situation.Gogetcredit will provide users with a dialog on whether to authorise the application to access the mobile phone’s SMS messages, and the user has the option of granting or denying permission. If the user refuses authorisation, this means that we do not have access to SMS messages and are unable to assess the user’s fraud risk and creditworthiness.

Data Usage:

Only when assessing a user’s risk do we screen and Analyse the user’s messages related to financial transactions. Specifically, this means that we screen messages containing the user’s name, transaction description and transaction amount for user credit risk assessment. Other than that, we do not monitor, read, store or share any personal SMS Log data of users.

Data Security:

We use the HTTPS protocol to encrypt and transmit Users’ SMS Log information to our servers (https://app.gogetcredit.college) . We do not share the data we collect with third parties without the user’s permission.

Emergency Contact

Permission Purpose:

When users use the Gogetcredit product service, we will ask users to select contacts in their newsletters as emergency contacts, including information such as name, phone number, and relationship to you.

Data Usage:
  1. Emergency Notification: In the event of an emergency, we will use emergency contact information to notify your contacts to ensure your safety and prompt assistance.
  2. Customer Support: In some cases, we may use emergency contact information to provide better customer support services.
Data Security:

We use the HTTPS protocol to encrypt Users’ emergency contact information and transmit it to our servers (https://app.gogetcredit.college). We do not share the data we collect with third parties without the user’s permission.

Album Pictures

Permission Purpose:

Gogetcredit does not access or scan users’ photo albums or media libraries without authorization. However, through our feedback feature, users may upload specific images to assist in resolving issues or inquiries. These images, selected and authorized by users, are securely processed via third-party SDKs integrated into our platform. The primary purpose is to analyze and provide accurate, efficient responses to improve customer support and enhance user satisfaction.

Data Usage:

Uploaded images are solely used to identify and resolve issues reported by users through our customer support channels. Once the matter is addressed, the images are not stored or retained beyond the necessary duration, strictly adhering to data protection laws and guidelines.

Data Security:

Gogetcredit employs trusted third-party SDKs that ensure all image data is transmitted and processed securely, following stringent data protection protocols. We guarantee that the data is not shared with unauthorized parties, and all actions are performed with the user’s explicit consent.

Personal Information

Permission Purpose:

We collect personal information from our users including, but not limited to, information such as name, age, gender, telephone number, email address, date of birth, annual income, Bank Verification Number (BVN), and ID number. We collect your personal information in order to assess your credit rating and provide you with a line of credit.

Data Usage.

Equipment Information

Permission Purpose:

Gogetcredt collects information about the user’s device, including the device name, mobile phone manufacturer, carrier or OS manufacturer, device hardware identifiers such as IMEI, MEID, MAC address), language settings, cpu model, memory capacity and other information.

  1. Credit assessment: to assess your credit rating in order to provide appropriate credit limits and loan services.
  2. Customer Service: for responding to your requests, questions and feedback, and providing customer support services.
